Claude Debussy (August 22, 1862 – March 25, 1918) was a French composer. Do you know that the Clair De Lune, Deux Arabesques, String Quartet in G minor was all written by him? He died of rectal cancer in Paris on March 25, 1918.
His last works were Tudes and Violin Sonata. Claude Debussy is widely regarded as one of the most influential composers of the 20th century and he also influenced many important figures in Jazz, most notably George Gershwin, Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Herbie Hancock and Jimmy Giuffre.
