Graffiti Artists or Vandals?

Check out some of the best graffiti from around the world below!

In most places around the world, it is against the law to spray paint on public property such as trains, bridges and walls of buildings. However, laws against vandalism have not stopped creative graffiti artists/vandals around the world from "creating masterpieces" whenever they spot an opportunity.

Of course, there are many pathetic and lousy graffiti vandals/artists who are only good at spray painting or drawing vulgar and ugly images (just look at some of our vandalised HDB void decks or the picture below of graffiti in Luxembourg by someone who obviously failed spelling in school and does not know how to spell 'crappy politics').

At the same time, there are many talented grafitti artists/vandals out there who have transformed some dull-looking places into works of "art"! Check out this slideshow on some of the amazing graffiti that is found in major cities around the world!

Should governments (including Singapore's) relax some laws regarding graffiti or even allow/invite graffiti artists/vandals to create their works in selected places?

What do you think?

Yeah, why not? Maybe they should even invite people to create art on the MRT train carriages, just like Banos(an anonymous graffiti artist, who make graffiti on MRTs) or the Swedish and Britain man(who is believed to have escaped to Hong Kong).

I agree with Lawrence... For example, the recent case about the two teenagers "vandalising" the train? There was an image showing the train that had been vandalised and it was pretty good. They should invite graffiti artists to create art on public properties. To be honest some of the public properties are really dull!
